The Tamborine Mountain Scarecrow Festival is a local celebration of more than 300 scarecrows along a 14-kilometer path that stretches around the mountain.

One plus is its accessibility via rental motorhomes to some of the most magnificent views of the Tamborine Mountain rainforests, as well as stop-overs at lush parks, restaurants, wineries and art galleries along the way. From Main Street, you will be greeted by dancers, musicians, and various other street performers, and if you feel the spirit of community move you, enter your own scarecrow in the annual festival contest.
